Dear Fellow Captain,

For early planning, I am pleased to announce the date and cordially invite you to participate in the seventh annual Gerry Shuttleworth Memorial Trophy, to be held at Kloof Country Club on 9th May 2016.
We will also hold the postponed A.G.M. before the prize-giving.

The Trophy will be contested by 'same-club'4-ball alliance teams, made up of Captains and past-Captains of KZN golf clubs and other qualified members of the Golf Captains Society of KZN.The 2014 holders of the Floating Trophy are the team from Bosch Hoek Country Club, who "wrested" it from Central Durban GC who held it for the previous two years. Who will win it this year?

As always, mixed teams, i.e.teams not made up of players from the same club, are welcome to participate and will be eligible for all prizes on offer, including the 1st prize and individual prizes, but not the Trophy , which is a "Team Award".

We have not determined a guest speaker as yet, but do hope to have one as entertaining and interesting as our previous speakers have been.

Please register by entering the names of your team, or individual name/s, by not later than 22nd April 2016. (The entry form is attached herewith.) Pre-payment by EFT, or bank deposit is mandatory. Bank details are on the entry form. NB. Refunds will only be considered if 7days' notice is given.

Please note: Save the sponsors guest, only members of the Golf Captains Society are eligible to enter. New members are very welcome. Also, please try to encourage current/past Captains to join. Membership forms are available at www.gcsn.org.za as are other interesting items and a photo gallery of past events. Society shirts and caps will also be on sale on the day.

Once again the venue is Kloof Country Club, where we have had record fields in the past, so please get your entry/payment in early, to help us facilitate a successful day.

We look forward to seeing old friends and to meeting new ones.
