Dear Fellow Captain,

I am pleased to announce the date and cordially invite you to participate in the second 'Gerry Shuttleworth Memorial Trophy golf competition', to be held at Kloof Country Club on 27th June 2011.

As before, the Trophy will be contested by club 4-ball alliance teams, made up of Captains and past-Captains of KZN golf clubs and other qualified members of the Golf Captains Society of KZN.

The current holders of the Floating Trophy are the team from Umhlali Country Club.

Mixed teams, i.e. not made up of players from the same club are most welcome to participate and will be eligible for the other prizes on offer, including the 1st prize and individual prizes.

Please register by entering the names of your team, or individual name/s, by not later than 10th June 2011. (The entry form is attached herewith.) Pre-payment by EFT is the preferred method, but payment may also be made on the day. Membership may also be taken out on the day. We would be delighted to welcome new members!

Please note: Only members of the Golf Captains Society are eligible to enter. Membership forms are available on our website www.gcsn.org.za as are other interesting items and a photo gallery of past events.

We had a splendid turn-out last year and a great time was had by all. We hope to have an even bigger field for this year. Please do some lobbying at your club and encourage participation and membership of our rather special Society.
